Its Friday night in Manhattan, and everyone is trying to get out of town. Plus its Memorial Day weekend! It's bumper to bumper down there, so we are glad to be on the tram.
Jack and Maria are waiting for us at a lovely steakhouse Cassy selected named Parlor. This will be our last chance to see Cassy before she goes off tomorrow on a class trip to China, including Shanghai and Thailand, as well as Beijing. And, she is planning to move to LA sometime in August, so it'll be a while.
Cassy is still excited and it's been a big big week. She has to meet her group at 6 a.m. and then will have a 17 hour flight.

Cassy gives Maria a Mother's Day Present. OK a little late, but much appreciated.
Cassy's roommate May joins us after dinner. She has had her own graduation this week.
Maria gave Cassy a copy of a list she had made in high school of the things she wanted to accomplish. She promptly took a pen and began to check off the things she had done. Among them: Get into college and graduate!
Cassy had planned to go out and party with some of her friends tonight. But she suddenly said she had hit the wall and needed to get a few hours sleep. If you look at her eyes, you have to say -- no kidding!
So we bid her a fond farewell and hope she has a wonderful trip!
