John and I were in Juneau Alaska when John McCain picked Sarah Palin to be his Vice Presidential
running mate. We walked up to the Governor's mansion and right up to the front door. There was nobody there, because she lived in Wasilla. But, we were there.
This time we were in New York when Anthony Weiner announced that he would run for Mayor of New York City. It seems ironic.
I guess he was waiting to see how Mark Sanford did running for the House of Representatives in North Carolina. And, he did quite well. And, Weiner has a lot of campaign money he needs to use or lose, so why not run? It will certainly be interesting to watch!
